New to Online Eyeglasses? Click Here!
Ongoing: Click here for 15%-off EVERY ORDER at EyeBuyDirect This is the best ongoing deal on the internet for EyeBuyDirect!
Goggles4U drops prices, drops additional discount codes. People are concerned, but this is still one of the best places to buy online. Link!

30% off > 15% off (at least through Sunday)

If you've been on the fence on a new pair of glasses, or have seen something over at EyeBuyDirect that you wished was just a bit cheaper, I can assure you that 30% is a bigger savings than 15%.

Those elegant $35 dollar memory titanium rimless frames are only going to set you back $28. Or think about it as actually having them pay you a nickel for the AR coating ($7 savings - $6.95 AR coating = one shiny nickel in your pocket).

There are many new frames in all categories. Perhaps these for your wilder side for the effective price of $12.56. Add about $12 for UV/AR coatings and they're in your cart for under $25.

I know many of you (the ones who can instantly figure out what 15% on your bar tab is) are saying "enough with the math already, show me the code!"

Here it is. It's good now through Sunday, April 19th (but NOT on designer frames, sport glasses or non-prescriptive sunglasses):

Glassy30

Just enter the code in the coupon box during checkout.

EyeBuyDirect has a $100 Sweepstakes thing ending on Monday as well. Post on the aptly named "Wall of Frame" to enter. People actually do win these things so enter early and often!

Arrgh...I just put an order in yesterday and for this exact titanium frames too. I would have saved an additional $25 with that 30% off coupon code. :(

I keep going to Eyebuy, and their frame selection is awesome, but the one thing that turns me off is how much it costs to get a thinner lens. Standard lens of 1.5 is not really cutting it.

Don't get me wrong, I know it's great prices. I'm not comparing them to what I bought in the past from retailers, but to the other online sellers. Thanks to Ira, I have 4 pairs that I bought from Zenni, G4U and LBW Eyewear. I just wish 1.6 was default and not a $42 addition. My current rimless frames from Zenni are rocking a 1.67 for just $37 above the 1.57 default. When your script is in the -5 range it makes a huge difference.

Just my $0.02. Keep up the good work, Ira.

It's worth noting the discount applies to the entire order, including lenses. For those of us with extreme prescriptions, the 1.74 index lenses are looking pretty good at $78! As cheap as I've ever seen them.

Hi,I am thinking I want "computer glasses" slightly altered from reading prescription for distance to computer display (18-30 in.) vs normal reading (12-18 in.) Can my optometrist make such a prescription?

So a while back I was reading this blog and I remember saying that If we have probs with any of your recommended merchants, to let you know so you can call your people. So here's what's going on. I placed my order with eyebuydirect.com one month ago on the 20th.

two weeks went by and they said they were about to be shipped. another week went by and they said they just got them back from FedEx damaged and were going to have a new pair put together quickly and sent out. They told me I would receive them before the end of this past week.

Today my order status on their website still says "assembling". Its going to be over a month til I get my glasses, could you help??? I really hope they make this right so I can tell all my friends about this great deal. Thanks!

My question is am i good to go with their standard lens having a RX of

-4.75 -3.00 165
-4.50 -2.75 016

? Thanks, i am currently in a 1.59 lenses because they said it would be "thinner" of course they couldn't tell me how much thinner.

I ordered a pair of Hudson for my dad and a pair of Paris and Madeira for myself.

We're VERY happy. I placed the order the night of the 14th and received them today, the 22nd.

My main concern was build quality, but, after wearing them this afternoon and doodling with them, I am impressed with how solidly built they are.

Got my order today. The Rx is very very wrong. Luckily, they have online chat customer support and I found out that every number in my Rx was incorrect. I don't think I type 'that' poorly, but the error will be corrected. I have to ship this pair back and wait again. Hopefully they'll get it right the second time.

On the plus side, I really like their online chat for customer support! That is very nice!

Opinion pending.
