Big News (on Multiple Fronts)

From a strictly personal sense, the biggest news is the new site is going live tomorrow. I'm going to be busy putting together the finishing touches all day. I've got a full pot of coffee, finished watching the season finale of Mad Men during breakfast, put the full-time gig on hold for the day, and the kids are at school until 3PM. Here we go!

Secondly, and maybe firstly in the grand scheme of things, EyeBuyDirect has decided to extend their sale for another week. That's right, they're going to continue to double up on the orders until November 15th.     I had intended to place an order from EBD, but after placing two pair of glasses in the cart, the price was not adding up to "2-4-1". Rather, on about a $200 order I was getting a mere $25 discount. They need to work out the bugs or be clearer about why my order didn't qualify. In general, I wasn't impressed with EBD and probably won't go back.

    I've now had two Goggles4U pairs where the lenses have been ground incorrectly. Gave me a headache to wear them both times.
